The M-3 Wrist Strap Checker is an easy to use hand held tester for all types of single wire wrist straps and ground leads. It is a compact, portable unit that reliably indicates the condition of the wrist strap, ground lead and interface to the user's skin. If system resistance is too high (>10 megohms) or too low (<800 kilohms) an audible alarm will sound and either the high or low indicator will light. If system resistance is within the satisfactory range, the "OK" indicator will light. May optionally be placed in series between ground and wrist strap for convenient periodic testing without disconnecting wrist strap. Pictured is Richmond's optional AC/DC converter for the M-3 (120 VAC to 9 VDC) that may be ordered separately.

The M60A Two Station Wrist Strap Monitor System continuously monitors one or two ESD work surfaces and one or two conductive wrist straps to detect loss of continuity. Conditions such as ungrounded work surfaces, broken or disconnected coil cords, unsafe paths to ground, and improper wearing of grounding equipment by operators are detected instantly to alert the operator to take corrective action before serious and expensive losses occur due to ESD and grounding faults.

The compact M60A independently monitors two workstations with a common control/alarm module. Individual green "status OK" and red "fault" LEDs for each workstation, operator and work surface give continuous indication of work surface and wrist strap/coil cord grounding status.

An audible alarm sounds to alert the operator when a failure condition is detected. Each satellite module has an additional grounding jack for visitors.
